Some idiot just got a 54 plate Honda Jazz stuck outside my house with a flat battery. Jump started it for them

... plated by Tewkesbury Borough Council as private hire. What the fuck?

Tewkesbury is clearly a very tolerant council! Although the Honda Jizz is a small car it's probably more roomy than the plethora of Pug 306s I ran back in the day.

In other news Ionic is going into the dealers to get the aircon sorted under warranty on Wednesday and next Monday it goes in for its 50,000 mile service! That's half of my 100,000 mile warranty burned through since the 30th of August last year! It's looking like a 60,000 mile year for me and I'm on target for having 14 months of repayments to make without any factory back up. Gulp!

I think they'd notice if I shaved 30,000 miles off it!

How's the interior and boot holding up with the mileage covered? I have mobility scooter in the boot and there is some scratches on the interior plastics in the boot and carpet is feeling thin in places.

I think we are moving towards having to stop the miles going on in the first place - my BMW has a direct phone line to the Fuhrership and it tells them when it needs servicing and stuff

Have heard of devices that stop / slow the odometer. Not sure how that works.
