I work next to a highly respected specialist and I know they sell the odd one but dare not venture into their premises in case I commit to something.

Just out of interest what's the going rate for that, looks like exactly the same job I did on my other halfs Lexus, the inner outer and centre sills had vanished for the last 12"

Well so far he has had 220 quid which stings a little but he has put a lot of work in.

That Burgundy Bentley is Hnnnngg and an awful lot of car for the money
If the Burgundy was owned by a posh Sultan, the Green one must have been owned by the Sultans Of Swing, but your man is making nice work of that sill and arch repair.

I don't think that's too bad; welders these days fall into 2 camps, shite and cheap or expensive and good. Theres no in-between anymore, the skill base has gone.
