Sure does look wantable in those photos. It is a boring thing to say but “if I had a building to keep this in…”
Trouble is when I look at the pictures I catch myself thinking - I could just remove this, delete that, change those, fit better, move those, fill that…
Which would be a shame because this looks to be an unusually original B-GT.

It is a nice looking BGT & all the better for not having a Webasto turning it into a skip.

I think that they look better with a Webasto, if I had a GT I'd want one with one fitted.

It is almost the best of both worlds....I can well understand NOT fitting one but I would be happy to buy a car so fitted. Best BGT experience was borrowing a mate's rubber bumper, low mileage Webasto'd example. Drove beautifully and far more civilised and useable than his V8 example. It was also considerably easier to get in and out of, something I have grown old enough to appreciate....

I've always thought the BGT was a better looking car than the normal B, although oddly I once test drove a B when considering buying one but nevet a BGT. I don't think any decent BGTs were about in my price range at the time.

Now I don't want a second car or I'd be rather tempted by this.

I definitely wouldn't want a Webasto. I've had a MGB and it was really quite good.

I ended up with my Midget as you got a lot better example for the money I had. These days I'd deffo go B or preferably BGT as they are big enough to get in & out of.

Hypothetical question, are these realistic daily drivers? For an uphill and down dale commute?

The problem is I'd spend thousands fettling the suspension.

I'm sure they are, they were back in their day after all.
