Older records won't be. There are cars where I've deffo sent the slip in not marked as such.

Changed owner in 2007 though, so should be under computerised records if it was? But if not MOT'd after 2005, I guess that's why it doesn't show up on the DVLA site directly.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 11:09 pm Older records won't be. Is that a book worth buying? The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 3:43 pmStuart Bladon, an Autocar staffer was very unkind about it in his autobiography.

Yes, as is the one by Peter Dron. The latter talks about the good old days of motoring journalism when it was worth doing and why it isn’t now.

Did George Bishop do a book along the lines of his Car columns do you know?
That'd be one I'd definitely buy.

George Bishop was an appalling man apparently, a terrible drunk and generally unpleasant. According to Dron’s book he took his neighbours Metro and sold it whilst they were on holiday.

I've spoke with Dron over that quite a bit. Then I got Steve Cropely (another nice bloke) telling me I wasn't there, so I shouldn't judge. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Mon Apr 05, 2021 12:27 pm George Bishop was an appalling man apparently, a terrible drunk and generally unpleasant.
