Not bad at all!

My old man probably has a set of points you could try

The wheel sets the points 1/11th of a degree, it's a really fine adjustment (father said once you get the timing right, two clicks retard for a rainy day lol)

Oh yeah I forgot to write up the points bit.

Found my other "high quality" Moss condenser. I put it on the crappy Chinese 45d that I ran in the MGB for a bit.

Took that out and desoldered the connection for the single line on the 45D setup. Then cut a wire off a crappy condenser and soldered it on.

The points that were on it are totally screwed. Absolute junk these condensers.

Also happened to find this which (iirc) Anonymous User sent me for the old 1100 but I kept. I did polish it up and it is still quite shiny. Tempted to put it on.

Found this too in my bits stash. Pretty sure this is an important instrumentation I need for this. :D

Or I'll keep it for the Dolly.

Great thread. Great blue colour outside. Puke colour inside!
As I suspected I was right about everything.

Some similarities there with my Boxster! Wasn't intentional admittedly.

Also a question for the ADO16 experts on here, am I supposed to have a bit of trim here?

In period, fittings also included half a bag of chocolate coated chewing nuts, various pre-decimalisation small coins, a box of tissues (half used), a box of matches and a noddling dog on the parcel shelf.

I'd totally forgotten about chewing nuts. I used to love them.

Go on, treat yourself....

Our local sweet shop does them but sadly closed its doors on the outbreak and have not yet re-opened.
