Lacking a rev counter and poorly equipped in other areas by todays standards.
What a bastard of a device that is. Those are the base model templates for the gauges in a mk2 Dodge Challenger, the big gap at the bottom is normally filled with a dot matrix vfd display (same green glow as the one on the right) rather than symbol lights. The VFD from the right is actually a Chevrolet one, from the Astro.

Chevrolodge. Sounds like an 80's motel.

Electric car, 12 prototypes built by Scottish Aviation. The firm also built a cab for Ferguson tractors, I hope they made a better fist of their planes. Anyway, never heard of this thing, and don't know why you'd do 12 before you realised it was shit. Just pips the Inva for looks.

It did 36 mph and broke up when tested at Mira. They just misread the market- with pedals toddlers would have snapped it up.

The planes were good designs apart from the wings falling off which was a bit of a problem.

Very shortsighted, not the way to get customers coming back.

I guess that some of them came back quite quickly but not in the way that they'd hoped.

Which 'plane was it Chadders - the Twin Pioneer. I know they had a couple of mishaps pre-delivery.
