Did col d'lseran today followed by Col de Bonnette with various others in-between. Bonnette is allegedly the highest paved public road in Europe. I say allegedly as about three claim the title. 9.220ft on my GPS is pretty high anyway.

I ran across the frog version of bike safe, run up one of the passes too.

Finished the day chasing a mad Italian down a canyon, Quinn can dance much better than I thought a Hardley ever would, somehow it's more fun doing it on the wrong style of bike.

Ended up too far south,. But I was enjoying the road and forgot to stop. I can see the med from here, I'm just outside Nice.

Pillboxes I think.

They seem to be quite a long way down le route di grande alpes. I assume germin prep for an allied invasion of southern france, but that's a guess.

The bare slope is col de Bonnette btw if you fancy googling it.
