Re: Modern Motors Well Worth A Look.
Nowt really appeals to me. Everything just seems so unreliable nowadays. Strangled to fuck with emission controls and just shit design in general. I dislike the general demographic that buys new cars especially vag and German products.
Maybe with a gun to my head I'd buy a new version of what I have. I fancy a posh touch screen radio sat nav thing.

Likewise, about the only thing that appeals is a new V8 Mustang. Can't even import a decent new vehicle from Aus as Holden and Ford Australia are no more.

Look at this pile of shit. £3500 to buy it, £2500 to fix it - until the next thing breaks, which it will.

I'm not sure what the point is in that sort of thing, I guess the YouTube advertising must pay much better than I think?

My hyundai ionic was a good steer as was the countryman. The countryman though was a 1.5 3 pot petrol in a car that weighed as much as a lexus ls 400,larger than focus I have now externally yet about same size inside as a fiesta. The quashqai and octavia were just shite though. Admittedly, the octavia was damn quick for a 1.4 petrol. 7 and a bit to 60 and top end nigh on 140.

I do love a good Jag, but the modern ones have lost that 'Jaguar-ness' that was all the appeal, no fucking slabs of walnut across the dash? I'll pass thank you! I do like the older ones lots and mine is a very pleasant place to be (apart from the sodding roof lining and the dog trying to sit in the front) and I hate the backlights on the newer XJ's

Agreed, they are very nice but they aren't very 'Jag'.

They've made it look like a fiberglass NASCAR shell, with stickers on. Very aerodynamic, I'm sure.
