The shuddering at around 35 to 43 mph wasnt a vacuum issue as that's returned now. Feels like a misfire if I'm gently accelerating in 4th. No fault codes though so I'm unsure if it could still be a dirty injector or not.

It's probably shaking with fear, wondering when and how it's demise will take place.

Mainly when Im pulling on part throttle like lifting off for a bend in a 30 or 40 zone then accelerating out and it's usually around1600 to 1800 rpm.

The picasso has been stripped even further today. Injectors, throttle potentiometer and other ancillaries removed off the engine. Taken tow bar off to put up on ebay and then scrapping the picasso.

If it's throttle position related not speed then I'd try swapping the throttle sensor. I had that once on my 14

I've nect got to buy a new bracket for towbar electrics. Its rusted and held on with cable ties. The wiper arms are coming off to be sprayed satin black. I also want to do the roof rails bit they are plastic coated and faded in the sun. Any tips?

Aim the spray can away from your face.
