What doesn't help is know it all twats that post on the for sale ad that you should budget £2.5k per year for servicing. This is a myth put out by the same cunts who charge £100 a year to join their club. The red one in it's first year of ownership including doing the brakes which were advised on the last 3 mots and would of gone another year easy has cost around £500 in parts etc. most of that was the discs and pads. Once they are up to a decent standard a few hundred a year max to keep on top of them unless you want the dealer stamps then they will rob you blind.

The Corvette came back from it's repaint today. It isn't the best paint job but it is better than it was and only set me back 800 quid. It is a 10 footer now so certainly better than before, once it is all fitted up and had a decent polish it should look ok.

I'm still surprised how small it is next to a normal car, I've always thought of them as oversized like most yank stuff.

So did I until I saw one in person at a show.
A classic Mini is a tiny car, yet doesn't look ridiculously oversized next to one. Not a huge amount of storage space in them either. I do like them a lot. Shame they're quite a bit of money.
