New brakes finally fitted. Much better and feels a lot more solid.

Re: Mx-5 NA and Pug 107
Callipers were okay. It was a fucked slider on the driver's side along with a warped disc.

Re: Mx-5 NA and Pug 107
They old ones I took off had no where at all. There must have been some crap on the drivers hub that was't cleaned off when they were fitted. They'd reused the old sliders and shims too. The whole car shook like a shitting dog under the slightest pressure.

Re: Mx-5 NA and Pug 107
Finally changed the door lock on the mx5 today after a year of getting in and out the passenger door to unlock it. It had a second hand door fitted before I had it resprayed. I wonder if you can buy door membranes, this one is shagged. No wonder the door card was damp.

Re: Mx-5 NA and Pug 107
Just use the plastic sheet that is used under laminate flooring. In fact if you tell me how much you need I’ll post you some when I get back as I’ll have loads of wastage from the next room.
Less annoying tag line.

Re: Mx-5 NA and Pug 107
Good idea. In fact I have a big roll of it in the garage. It's a bit thicker than what's on. Shouldn't make a difference though.
