Re: Pug 107 minus mx5 plus Audi A8
Just watched Transporter 2 and now halfway through number 3.
Frank drives a d3 w12 in both fims. A quick google suggests it's just as fast as the s8 with the lambo v10. What was the point? A lot more engineering for no gain at all.

Frank's was auto and quattro but he stiill managed a rear wheel spin away from a standing start. He also did a great hand brake turn. I'd love to know how seeing as it's electric with a button and you can't activate it unless you put your foot on the brake.
Then it was under water and he got some huge bags out of the boot and filled them from the tyres to get it to float where it was dragged out by a tractor. It then proceded to start and he drove it away. I get plenty error messages and mine as far as I know, hasn't been under water.

You've obviously got a Friday car that didn't have some of the options that he got. Probably all grouped together in a special Transporter/Ronin/Hitman pack.
Lotus did the same for James Bond as does Aston Martin etc..
Maybe one day there'll be a successful Plumbers pack?

He had to use a key to start it, I don't. I reckon the options list would be frightening.

Surprisingly cheap to rent but very very expensive to actually buy.

You know what millionaires say:

Re: Pug 107 minus mx5 plus lexus
I was in a Q7 a few weeks ago. The dash changes from speedo, rev counter etc to moving map and other options.paulplom wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 5:36 pm Partner drove us to Kingston park tesco earlier and said it's the best car yet. I was messing about while she was driving and found the gearbox sport mode. I drove it on the way back and it transforms it. Much sharper and quicker. Very rapid for a diseasal. I also managed to set the satnav for home. The arrows etc come on the little screen between the speedo and rev counter. I've never drove anything soo futuristic. I had the radio cranked right up, very loud and crystal clear, best stereo yet. I haven't worked out how to put the trip computer on yet or connect the bluetooth.
After a brief ownership, 9/10 so far.
