I understand. Doing the job you do when your hands are always clinically clean and as soft as the Fairy Liquid lady's you certainly don't want to get a speck of anything on them.

No, I meant the ones with a lever at the side and a till roll.
You bairns probably won't even have seen one. They can also cause RSI.
I do have an abacus though, and a slide rule that I used at uni.

The we buy any van quote has dropped a grand to £11k. I booked an appointment and went to see them. They've offered £10k which I'm going to accept. I have to put my private plate on retention and strip everything off it including the roof rack. They never mentioned the towbar or the sign writing thank fuck.
He says it takes 5 days to get the log book back from the dvla which gives me plenty of time. It cut out and died twice earlier and the idle is all over the place again. I can't wait to see the back of the bastard.

I spent half an hour drilling and grinding these brackets off the floor. They must have been what held the old racking in place. I then give it a good sweep out.
Half an hour later and it's laid. It stops all your tools and boxes of shite flying all over the van. It Was slightly short width wise so I had to join it, meh.
It's massive inside compared to the custom.
I then went to wilkos for some screws and penny washers. It's surprising what you can fit in those little bags for £3.50. I followed that by going to a carpet shop for a £20 remnant.Half an hour later and it's laid. It stops all your tools and boxes of shite flying all over the van. Just needs a bed, table, sink & two windows to be a motorhome & cheaper to insure as far as I recall the regs.
