I took the drivers light cluster out to replace the indicator bulb. It's not a bulb hut a series of leds with a complicated looking circuit board.
Looking on ebay and I can't find one.
Can parts finder general Eddie find one?

Explains why it's a dealer fix. They'd replace the whole cluster.

Probably just needs resoldering or similar on a weak joint. But if you can't/won't solder then replacing the assembly will be quicker.

Check the part number matches though.

There’ll be some Russian on YouTube showing you how to do it, I’ll be bound.

My eclass has similar problem and there’s people on eBay that fix them while you wait for £50, I can’t be arsed as the inner lights still work and my MOT man is happy for it to be a ‘ Verbal advise’

Changing leds is above my skill set.
I'll check the fuses first and look for damage on the board before ordering. Thanks for the help.

Progress for you. The electrics seem to ve a bit hitty missy on the fucker. The reverse sensors don't work. Just a continuous beep. The drivers window has a hissy fit earlier and wouldn't come up. It would rise a few inches then drop again. The sat nav wouldn't work and was asking for a cd rom. The handbrake says it has a fault.

Plus points. I've discovered it"s a quattro, I can't get the tc light to flash. It has adjustable suspension (airbags?). Bose radio and very loud. And over 80 miles today I got 38.8mpg.
