Off to get the relay soon. 130 miles and over 2 hours driving.

Fucking battery light came on the audi when I started it up. Went to fill with diesel and took it for a drive. I've gave fil my battery tester as his 300c is acting itself. I've got one of those things to plug in the cigarette lighter and it gives you voltage so headed home. 11.2v and the seat switched off. .put my booster on and 12v but it just span over slowly and stopped. We've done a couple of hundred miles since last weekend and the fucking thing has been fine.
Kitlltox messages saying the van battery was flat and he's waiting for home start.
You couldn't make this shit up

Take a spare battery and jump leads? There's probably done drain in the Audi battery or its just not taking a charge whilst on the vehicle.
Sounds stupid but I've had it before, newish battery that would only take a charge of maybe 5 amps, would charge up fully on a trickle charger but end up dead after a week of use because it wouldn't take a high charge from the alternator. Took me 2 alternators and a load of time spent checking wiring to figure that one out

What's the fag lighter thing reading with the engine running? If it's 11.2 I would be worried about your alternator.

I think it likes you & doesn't want to leave.

Yep Paul's gone out to buy another one that works to swap with Kiltox, otherwise he may never have sex again!
