Fleet Occurrences
Hello,
I thought I had better start a thread about my stuff.
As can probably be seen, I buy stuff I like and don't toe the line of owning something with an XUD. I like Renaults though.
Here is my Audi 80 Cabriolet which I won in a raffle in February 2019. It's given good service and all the family like it. I bought my 3rd 75 in May this year. I should probably just keep this one. Diesel automatic, Contemporary SE with a remap. Goes well and the seats are warm. I like it a lot. I've had this shitbox for 10 years. No idea why. On its 2nd engine and slowly becoming less rusty every year (slow process) This was my wife's choice after I had to hand back my financed Dacia Duster last year when I was made redundant. Great to drive, but smoky and a bit unreliable. Likely run this till July 21 when the MOT runs out and get her something else.

I like those Audi 80s, from the time when they were aspirational, before MB, BMW and them went flat out for volume.

Those R56 Minis are just pigs. A litany of oil leaks, warning lights, fault codes, chain rattle and on petrols, the spectre of oil smoke.
I dislike Audis as a matter of course but the Corsa looks neat.

All the fun* of owning a classic Mini without the ignition woes and rampant rot then.Split_Pin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 1:25 pmYou have just described almost my entire ownership experience! The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 1:04 pm Those R56 Minis are just pigs. Re: Fleet Occurrences
I have fond memories of Audi convertibles, I was kidnapped at gunpoint in an 06 plate A4 ragtop.
