No wonder the trip back felt dangerous, you're on the wrong side of the road

Re: WReX Wagon
I blame the wife. She was driving when I took the photos on the way home. She claims to have been taught that way!
You would have thought that the US would understand the Left from the Right after the last election.
Lady wife had the Covid jab yesterday (front line worker - kid doctor). I’ll keep you up to date on how many extra heads she grows. If I mysteriously go missing, you’ll know why!

Walk across the lake today (after painting young ‘uns bedroom).
The pups enjoyed it too...
In other news, the boss gave approval to another addition to the fleet... Let’s hope it didn’t sell this weekend!- paulplom

Re: WReX Wagon
Went for a bit of a walk out on the lake again today. A balmy -12c, but with the sun out and not much air movement it wasn’t too bad - keeping warm especially trudging through 5” of snow.
One of the most breathtaking (whether you like the style or not) is Jimmy Jams former house and studio.
Jimmy Jam was in ‘the Time’ and toured with Prince as well as producing records for Usher, boys II men, Mariah (S)Carey and Janet Jackson.
He sold this place for $7M a few years ago. Reading the house spec was insane. I most liked the emergency tunnel from the basement that popped up near one of the property entrances. 22k square feet inside. Anyway, the new owner let it go into foreclosure (bank would have owned it). It went to auction and sold for just $2.6M. Which for around here and for what it is, is a steal.
This is what it looked like last summer from the lake.
A friend had said that the new owner was going to tear it down, and had bought it just for the plot. I figured he had got it wrong as the place is just insane. Obviously it’s on an estate that normal folks can’t get to but you can see it from the lake. So we took a walk over there this morning to see this... Such a shame as it was a little bit of Minnesota history.

Still, we have Paisley Park around 15 miles away, and the owners of the Prince name are milking it for all it’s worth, but Paisley Park looks more like an ICI chemical plant building rather than a cross between the 1930s and Memphis styling.
In an opposite bay (and just around the corner) from where us plebs live, are some amazing mansions. One of the most breathtaking (whether you like the style or not) is Jimmy Jams former house and studio.
