Thermostats mostly got moved long ago, not come across anything left as it was. Theres a cheap offer for gasket and stronger ladder kit which I will be taking advantage of to squeeze some more miles out of the thing.

Put a KV6 in it they *never have OMGHGF.

*Except the one I had, obvs.

KV6 head gasket failure is unusual. Its probably a result of the beading on the gasket failing if you've not cooked it.

Worse than that, if you just bolted one on freshly hoiked off a scrapper, chances are it would work for a few months. This wouldn't last 5 minutes.
