I've not been on (motorized) two wheels in over a decade, should be an interesting change of pace.

Well done, I'd say you've made a good move there. I am getting out a bit on my Honda CB125 despite the rain and making progress. I struggle to get motivated during the winter and intervals of practicing on the bike help give life a bit more meaning. Plus I look reet sexy in leather trousers 🤣

I shall be going for denim, I think leather would be overkill for a "bike" that couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.

I had a go on mate's one of those - must be 40 years ago - twisting the throttle right back caused it to bog down a bit - I found better progress was made by more gradual throttle application. It was 2 speed auto if I recall correctly, like my 1956 Chevrolet, but without the V8 power.
