Even derestricting it will show up a woeful lack of much needed torque.

If he can, he's as Bub'd as his cars remember. I think this is to see if he thinks he can do the test.

I remember pupils shitting themselves outside the test centre asking me how my bike test was. I didn't have the heart to tell them it was just a run around the block with the examiner watching me.Hooli wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 10:34 pmIf he can, he's as Bub'd as his cars remember. Re: The van,now with added moped.
Give us a description of this bogging, does it still Idle ok when it does it?
Does it use a vacuum fuel tap - maybe running out of fuel?

Re: The van,now with added moped.
I've had bikes before any if you guys knew me and they were kept for a long time or until they weren't trustworthy enough to do 1 to 2k a month for work purposes. Never had bad luck like with cars really.
Regards the bogging. Yes it has a vacuum fuel tap. Only thing I haven't changed. There is a minute amount of fuel in the vac feed to inlet too. Not running out but enough to taste when sucking on the hose so maybe diaphragm is worn or perished meaning its passing unmetered fuel straight into the inlet manifold. The idle is a bit erratic too. The bogging now feels more flat so to speak. From idle to pulling away it seems to be stumbling until it catches its breath then goes ok but still feels a bit flat. Smells rather rich too.

Re: The van,now with added moped.
Thats the plan too eventually. Want to be done before I'm 40 so I've got six years maximum but I won't do it until I know I'm comfortable enough to ride.

Re: The van,now with no moped.
CBT taken Thursday all good. Moped was being a twat so I sold it yesterday morning for 225 quid. Nice little profit. Leads me onto this
Rode it home around 40 miles last night and seemed to be great. Really comfy and has a upright seating position but a relatively low seat.
I took my CBT on a geared bike to see how I went in and actually surprised myself so I bought this lexmoto zsa 125 for £280. It has 2 weeks mot but that's no issue as I can get that sorted easily, slow puncture in rear tyre and brake light and main beam not working. Main beam is a blown bulb, rear lights are led so I need to find a loose or corroded connection somewhere as both the pedal and front lever do not activate the brake light.
