The other week it was 1/4 tank but it now refuses to go much below 3/4. Need to sort it when weather better.

After much issues with ecp (surprisingly ) I've now got the exhaust front section. Hoping to get it done tomorrow if it's not too bad weather wise. I can abide a bit of snow but I ain't doing it in a monsoon or blizzard. I might also get a physiotherapist booked for next week as no doubt the job will cripple me for a few days afterwards. Hate disabilities causing me issues for little jobs.

Exhaust is surprisingly the right part. After some lubrication on the bolts they came undone easily. All went as well as can do considering we are in minus temps here. Oh and a small fire but nothing major....

It was easily rectified and no damage caused.

Seems this van is doing ok for you Bub. Glad about that. I usually open your posts a bit tentatively just in case something horrible has happened. Hope the good stuff continues.

2 months in on just service an exhaust section and a part worn tyre. That's not had for me. To be fair my old one was faultless even though it had 260k on clock, never been maintained. Apart from the habit of the the pas pump falling off. N0t the belt, I mean tha actual pump

Not really! Ordered a multimeter from ebay the other day as my local place has non in stock. Used it just now for checking the relay for spotlights on the van. The wires supplied were getting rather hot. Odd thought I maybe cheap shit wire so I replaced the wires with the probes from my broken meter. Yea,that went well. Lots of pops and bangs, smoke from meter and. A blown auxiliary relay fuse on the van.
Lesson boys and girls never buy a cheap meter off ebay just for a quick job.
The one I usually buy from up the road is a silver line and costs around 8 quid. I use it just for fault tracing and continuity on the vehicles I own and they usually last around 18 months.
So no life is never boring here. See also the small fire fitting the exhaust yesterday!

Are you sure you didn't have it on amps instead of volts?
