FFS! (Halfords tin)

Yes, I use Halfords primer on my model cars, for which it is superb.
Admittedly for real cars it's a bit shit, but I can't be arsed to drive somewhere in this heat just to buy a fucking tin of primer. So yes, Halfords went on.

I then colour sanded the entire side in +547 degrees Celsius. I must be fucking nuts.
Now I have a well deserved beer, but I'm sharing it with a fruit fly. Well, they don't drink much.

Interesting though how the entire architecture of the car is different when the sill is body colour.
It's much more obvious in real life than the photos suggest.

Following two and a half hours of angle grinding, wob was wobbed.




Following a further two hours of sanding, primer was applied.



Shit man, you get older every year.


As you can see, the front portion of this sill will need to be properly replaced eventually.
Anyone out there who could do this for a reasonable tariff?
I have a replacement sill that would yield the required section.

Save for a few pinholes, the LH sill is the better of the two.
