1969 Reliant Regal 3/30 saloon

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

And I agree with Bangernomics.....Don't even clean it.

There was a Cowley round our way like that in the 90s, it was so green the local enviros were trying to put an SSSI on it....Massively influenced my decision to buy mine when I saw it a decade or so later. A car that looks like it has been pulled from a tidal estuary with a sound chassis and running like a swiss watch is a big draw for me....
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

That twin axle conversion needs bigger wheels.

Never to sell it.

Get it back together and do some driving (again).

It sports a front hubcap with a hole in it for the bearing to sprout through, was that a factory thing or did some proud owner not want the front wheel to remain unadorned?
Dan (Cruiser45) would know better than me, but I think it was up to a point in time.

You'd get open mouth pointing anyway. I have the paint, but it would be well down the list of things to do, so it would probably get a good bit of road action before I ever get round to something like paint.

As it's a 330, is it what BMW copied?

At risk of sounding like a spazwagon obsessive, the front ally hubcaps were fitted on all sidevalves,I think it was deleted in the 3/25 but many owners fitted them.Do sod all and you can't see them but I've been guilty of fitting a full chrome mini trim on the front of a robin.

Today's pic is a scan of the receipt - I've just noticed a mistake - registration suffix "E" has been written when it's actually "H". "KR" being a Maidstone registration.

Nearly £760 in today's money.

1991 ... I was five years old. Squire Dawson was only a baby (1yr old?).

You're old 😆
