Any wobbers around Gateshead as my other half's lad is buying a car from Sherwoods Peugeot. It is a Kia he is buying just wondered if anyone knows anything about them. They seem a decent company but local knowlege is handy. The other problem he has is getting it delivered any suggestions of a good transport guy in the area to deliver it to Weston super mare. Thanks guys

I'm quite local but I've never heard of them.
World of ceri from the beige delivered my mx5 and is a top guy. I can give you his number if you like.

I pass them every day going to and from work. They were previously Springfield FIAT/Citroen/Suzuki.

I used to use Beamish Transport for long-haul movements of stock.

Let me know if I can be of help.

I've used worldofceri for both of my 1100s and Laguna. Top guy and reliable. He's based in Coventry, so kinda in the middle.

Thanks guys at least no one has said they are a bunch of robbers avoid them at all costs. we have hopefully found a transporter as well. I am sure the last time I asked Ceri for a quote on something it was rather high. Using someone based near the pick up or delivery point will nearly always work out cheaper unless either of these points are in the south. It isn't so bad here in the south west but transporters in the south east are always considerably dearer.

Out of curiosity how much is the transport?
Mine was £250 from Leicester to North Shields Approx two hundred miles.

My other half is dealing with it but around 320 gateshead to weston super mare around 310 miles. This is with a half decent outfit that use proper trucks / trailers running legally with tacho's. Shiply could get it down to around 250 but after seeing the trailer the last shiply twat I used had I won't risk that again. The guy doing it also reckons he will beat any other quote but my other half doesn't want to haggle as it is a 13k car and she would rather have it done by someone running legally.

If you get stuck, give me a shout, I'll be driving past their outfit today or walking the dog past, depending on which branch you've bought from.
My mate actually puts stock into them.
