It's a long time since mines been on the road but I certainly never lifted off when going from 3rd to overdrive 3rd for example.
Maybe it depended on the year? or the one I test drove was dodgy? I don't know.

I believe the Fiat 500 got into gear without the aid of any synchromesh until 1972. By then even Landrover hàd added synchromesh to first and second for the then new series 3, creating a box that was much nastier to use than the one it replaced.

Got to be a Daimler ( or Lanchester) of some sort , surely?
Apart from Armstrong Siddley , I can’t think of any other cars that used them and Armstrong Siddley didn’t make it into the 60’s .
I’ve only experienced one in a Ferret , which was, from memory a late 60’s one, but I don’t think that counts as a car.

I had a mate with a Ferret once, she got it as an engagement present. Odd but amusing couple.

My mate that had one was also odd.
He also had an Abbot , which he flipped over, killing his new wife. Luckily his dead wife’s cousin came over from the Philippines for the funeral and then married him. Sort of buy one get one free.
He’s now an arms dealer and enthusiastic online racist, no one that’s ever known him will be surprised when he hits the headlines for some awful reason one day.

Mines on the road and 100% doesn't need backing off.

Iirc 1967-ish is when the overdrive type changed and I think the older ones were vacuum operated and later ones are solenoid operated.

Yellow headlamps in the UK? Did anything have them?

Factory spot lights. Mini? 4x4’s

Crossplies

Sliding window glass in the front

Mirrors on the wings?

Less annoying tag line.

Did she keep it in her trousers?

My 2005 ZT-T had the E39 BMW tape "head unit" and a cd changer.
I googled it and t'internet claims the last factory cassette car was the 2010 Lexus SC430 sold in the US.

I haven't looked into it over-much but I am often surprised how many late-ish cars have them when browsing Ebay and the like.
