OK, today I went with the GGG to get an appraisal of the work required to the car. I want it done, my restorer will hopefully be able to make a start in September. There I and Conrad were, happily busy improving the climate, with Junkman following, yet all we got were complaints about how it stinks and belches out smoke. NO PAIN, NO GAIN Junkman!

I can't weld or spray. I will be stripping and rebuilding the engine myself, that's easy and will be the second I've done. I renovated the woodwork myself.

All would be well if it'd improve The Climate(tm) in a pleasant two strokey manner, but it stinks like a tar sprayer.
Also, I didn't think it's possible that so much fog can come from such a small pipe.

It's possibly like the front grille on the MGB. Only was there for a year or two. I much prefer it to all the styles they did of them (the honeycomb one on mine is second in my list).

Me too.

My MGB preference will always be an early three bearing Roadster in Iris blue on steels, but a 1969/70 in a LeyTastic colour (Black tulip, Aqua) on RoStyles with that grille is second.

No reds, no wire wheels.

No MGB LGBGT either, has to be a Roadster. Soz.

Nah, the only M.G. cars worth having are the Palmer Magnette, or a 2 or 2.6 litre, as this idyllic scene shows.

How much would an example towards the shonkier range of the scale set me back?
