Re: Sub Par Cars
I bought one years ago from a bloke who'd took it off his dad to stop him from driving. I couldn't believe how good it was. I even did a feature on it for CM. Sold it straight away and no come back. It just shows what site motoring journalists know.SubPar wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 9:53 am I'm very tempted by this.

Re: Sub Par Cars
That’s disappointing, perhaps he’s had a lot of time wasters in the past?
No excuse for that level of rudeness though.

Re: Sub Par Cars
No idea, to be honest.
Been so long since I used them that the batteries in one of them had leaked. Whipped them out and cleaned it up with vinegar and a cotton bud, all good. I'm making sure to store them without batteries now. They just use AAAs, as they're basic models. None of these big fancy battery packs.

Re: Sub Par Cars
Time-wasters are part of the job for selling used motors, though. A good sheepskin will know how to deal with proper ones rather than tarring everybody with the same brush just because an instant bank transfer wasn't forthcoming on a bank holiday.
It's no good them blaming the internet, either. Without the likes of facebook and online trading they would sit on their shitty cars for the best part of the rest of their lives.

Well, instead of a £200 deposit, the cunt's getting a £4.99 glitter bomb sent to his 'business address' which shows on streetview as a terraced house.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Re: Sub Par Cars
I've just googled some of those retribution postage things. You can get them filled with purple glitter willies too.....I'm actually quite chilled at present with nobody pissing me off but I have certainly bookmarked the website.
