MPI fuel injection is a bastardised KV6 set-up.

Just saw this message. Didn't know that. What are the problems that the MPI have?

I think I remember reading somewhere that MPIs aren't easily converted? If that's true, not sure why as surely cash strapped Rover would have just lobbed a manifold to take injectors and swapping that out is all that's needed?
