Re: Pineappling Pursuits.
I’m liking that!
I’ve been into aircooled VWs since before I had my provisional.
Fixed a friends 1300 in a similar colour back in the days of squeezing by at Uni.
My dream car (and never to happen) has been a 356A Coupe for just about as long, from having so many bugs in my day.
Hope you make some great memories in it!

The first van I bought new was that colour. A '55 fiat ducato. They said if I picked that colour over white, they'd ply line it for nothing.

I always think the boot at the front looks as if it won't clear the bumper on these.
Is this one late enough to have Mcpherson strut front suspension?
I assume it has air pressure screenwash like my old T2?

Re: Pineappling Pursuits.
One thing I really miss since my VW ownership; cars with opening quarter lights.
They bring a nice controllable amount of air and very directional. I was really sad when I realized I probably won’t be able to afford a 911 with them.
Sorry - your comment of cruising with your arm out of the window reminded me!
