My camper originally had fixed quarter lights but I replaced them with opening ones. Not cheap but worth every penny. I also got hold of some ambulance fans to blow cool air, they're bloody noisy though.

Very good; I like an unmolested Beetle, would like to own one at some point myself to have had the experience. The paintwork looks fab, can I ask how much you paid for it?

If you need a thermostat for the flaps I've got a spare NOS old style bellows, i.e. fail safe, one.

Exactly the point of an old car, in my opinion - making the mundane more bearable. I don't think I have had a single purely-pleasure drive since last summer but I've had dozens of domestic necessity using either Morris. Only the salt stops me taking one.
