It's all back together. Ran like a twat at first but no eml on to find I'd not plugged cam sensor in. Impressed it ran at all. Plugged it in and eml decided to come on so reset light and jobs a good un. Mpg now around 45-46 mpg from the 42 it was before.
Cleaned lots of crap out the oil ways in the head and got rid of some gunk on the cam carrier and rocker covers. Changed oil and filter but only running it for 1000 miles before changing filter and oil again. Will also be having sump dropped,oil strainer and pickup cleaned out too at the same time.
