Desperately low on data till tomorrow but heard on the radio a Lancaster is flying over lincs this evening, think we have some lincs men on here?
As I suspected I was right about everything.

Re: Lancaster bomber
One of the pilots lived in Haconby 3 miles from me so we get a good seeing to. It gave the village a good seeing to, a rousing sound if ever there was one.
For me the high point was a few days before, Mrs and I were walking down the road early on a nice clear morning and a lone Spitfire was rehearsing right above our heads. A good enough reason to live in Lincs if you ask me.

Re: Lancaster bomber
We was kind of lucky in the respect that my trike wasn't great at filtering so stuck in traffic. Said it has been cancelled after over an hour of us being there already and there were folk there a lot longer than us. Then we heard the rumble of the plane followed by a chorus from numerous members of the public with lines similar to..
Oh for fuck sake
You have got to be joking
Bunch of cunts don't know their arse from elbow
Waited all day for this shit show
What a waste of fucking time
And so on.
