Yes, mine had twin sunroofs, A/C, CD multiplayer and best of all, everything worked!

Except for the rear wiper which had a mind of its own, pull the stalk and nothing would happen, three days later, the wiper would come on!

Ten years ago I had this beauty. I saw it for sale on Gumtree for about £300 with tax and test. The easiest collection caper ever as the bloke selling it lived six doors away on my road! I owned this at the same time as the Kawasaki G*****S that I've moaned about at length on here before. The Renner was one of those cars that would start first time 9 out of 10 times but the other time it'd need a bump start. I bridged it after it pissed me off.

Crank sensor. Very common fault on Renaults of that era. My Clio developed exactly the same symptoms until I had it replaced.
Don't see many Scenics any more. A MILF customer of mine about 10 years ago drove a tidy one. She had a lovely arse, and the car wasn't bad either.
It was more a case of turning key to the starter position and nothing would happen.

Still regret selling that Saab. I was a short-sighted fanny.

Is it just me that's never had a problem shifting gears in a classic 900 manual? The internet and contemporary road tests are awash with people slagging them off.

Mine sort of clunked and attempted to turn over but sometimes couldn’t manage it. A bit like flat battery symptoms.

Loving the Golf, in white that’s got to be the ultimate Q-Car. One of my brother’s wrote his wife’s ( blue ) one off at Christmas. He spent 4 months looking for something as fast and practical, even when he added money to the insurance payout, looked at Macans, RS Audis , AMGs etc etc ended up with an another identical Golf. Reckons until he can afford an M3 Touring there’s nothing else and even that has got a smaller boot.

The early cable change ones were fun! I had both types (of Maxi)
2005 Land Rover Discovery SE Manual
2003 Mercedes E320 Estate
1968 AMC Rebel SST Convertible
1967 AMC Rebel SST Convertible (for parts)
1994 Fleetwood Colchester 1850 EB

Hoping for roffle win :)

It’s a Golf R , which even taking into account the modern 600+ bhp things I sometimes drive is still the fastest ground coverer I’ve ever driven . Don’t think the estates are any slower, never actually driven my brother’s one, it was certainly going well when he put it into a field.
This is his latest, not quite as stealthy as a white one.
