Not stating what caused the fire but reports say it was a single car that started it? I'd place a guess on what it was.

Yeah, the firebrigade will be able to pinpoint the exact car that caused it. Surely they would have been able to put out a fossil fuel car quite easily. A Danish ferry company has devised a way of putting out electric car fires using chilled salt water. I'll try and find the link, and post it here.

I wondered what this was about till I caught up the CBW thread.

I can't wait till insurers insist EVs are banned from multistorey car parks and in separate areas well away from buildings for found level parking.

Since 2021 all new builds need to have an EV charger fitted by law. I think the insurers will be asking if an electric car is parked on the premesis, as the charger is not the problem.
