Hanging WBoD Shitheap Made by Hitler Acquired

I bought this hopeless pile of export grade Three Pointed Swastika shite today from a respectable* purveyor of fine* motors to temporarily negotiate our soon Bonneville resembling roads with it.
Its 2001 vintage completely belies the fact that it's like driving a 1995 Ramada Inn suite.
Turns out its first owner was Luton Town Football (whatever that is) Club, for use by its then manager Joe Kinnear (whoever that is). Be it as it may, I guess what's left of it in Spring can be flipped for the healthy profit I'm entitled to.

It's the desirable E240, which isn't desirable at all, I'm just saying it.

Must not have not been doing that well if they could only afford a E240 over a E320. Presumably they chose fabric seats over leather/mbtex as they wick up the post game sweat better?

I've been impressed with my recent M112 engine equipped Mercedes. Relatively easy & simple to work on for a modern engine and still decent amount of power as relatively modern. Yours isn't crammed quite as full with control modules as my W211 though.

Good to see you back.

Fuck me it's turning into the Mecdes owners club on here, we need more French shite to even things out. Nice to see you back JM even if it is just a fleeting drop by. It would be nice to know how you are getting on with the Deek as I just never really got on with mine.

If there is any unpopular demand for it, I might report on my DKW antics.

Old stuff always has an interest on here.

I've replaced the key fob batteries and thus can confirm it's easy to work on.
If it were just one step up from shit, it would be a remarkably good car I hate to admit. In fact, I might look for a better example once it grenaded.

According to my experience nobody gives a flying shit about cars on here.

Lucky old car, going into it’s final winter in the hands of someone who understands it.

These are probably more likely to spectacularly fail themselves on rust rather than grenade themselves?

I tend to agree when the other section on here has nearly twice the posts than this car section of the forum. But there are some of us on here that are still interested in them.
