It doesn't matter really the lentil cave is only accessable to members where as the motorised section can be seen by anyone. Slagging off members of the biege is best kept to the lentil cave though.

I don’t really care for slagging off.

But there are some real supersized dickheads on the other other place who click a like every time a controller farts and they are the ones who I wish all sorts of ill fortune to.

You know the masochists who can not restrain themselves from clicking again and again to have shit to complain about.

Enough of that though.

should that be seen as a challenge going forward?

If not, why not?

Remember when I had the cambelt and waterpump replaced on the 206 CC

I added a sticker to the engine to show when the work was done, for future reference.

Same as someone had done for the VW Caddy.

This week I got a card from the Post Office, demanding £2.50 for unpaid postage.
Dully paid it via PayPal.

Delivered on Wednesday.

Contents: a printed version of the details of the 206 CC service.

Some nice people out there.

No idea who sent the sticker but Thank You very much.

In the mean time it is still -3’C overnight.
Winter has reminded us there are seasons but……….

Someone from the beige?
Looks like I'll need to throw out the remains of a book of stamps that's been hanging around in my wallet.

Apparently you can trade them in.

I certainly have a multitude of old stamps.

I don’t know how to say this……

The people on the beige have tolerated me so far.

I quietly walked away once.

You can still use "commemorative" postage stamps, like Christmas ones and those issued for a certain "thing" such as British Architecture or Beatles Albums or any of those thousands of reasons the Post Office found to issue coloured bits of paper. Not sure if these have to state 1st or 2nd class or whether you can multiple-up the face-value ones to the required postage amount.

You cannot use the old "standard" QE head 1st, 2nd or any monetary denomination - "Standard" postage stamps must be the scannable type issued at the end of QE2 reign. They get scanned and RM know they've been scanned too so you can't simply peel them off and reuse them.

These rules are changing all the time though so best to check the Royal Mail website for the latest version of the truth.
