United States of GRIZZ - Just how random do you want it?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

20 minutes of contortion inside the rear, still not sure what I need to hook for the screen thing.

I am sure that I had a pic somewhere of the boot lock that has a little catch to trigger with a screwdriver on a stick.

Not yet figured it out.

Nope.

No luck.

Two hours poking around in the dark.

No luck.

Should be a 60 second job once seat back is removed.

No clue what to look for.

Had hoped it would be easier.

Are you aiming for the blind switch in the left hand corner or the tailgate emergency release? Blind switch should be easier to reach.

The NON-emergency release (3rd way) is making a bastard long Torx driver to unscrew the catch hook.

Ask in French, to get a French answer.

It's a fishing expedition. The kind that you spend hours on. Then you take a break and on return land a catch within 2 minutes. Always the way.

The interlock switch should be about the same level, maybe a bit higher and to the right (outside) right at the back as you search through hole.

100%

I have had that many times with various different problems.

I did see that the single big Torx seems tohave what looks like a washer shaped bit of paint missing below it.
Maybe the thing has already dropped partially.

Regarding the boot lock escape clip/switch/tab.

Is that bottom left of the lock?

Do I need to lift or depress it?

THANKS FOR THE INFO, PATIENCE AND GUIDANCE.

Not got a forklift yet.

Many grinders though.

Never opened the roof before.

Do I try hook that interlock mechanism and then hit the open roof button? And leave the rod in place?

I take it side glass down, catches unhooked on A pillars.

Then pray

See this 307CC vid of flicking a similar lock.
