Ahh. Dog from work, obviously. Back in the day. As it involved walking maybe 20yards.

You can replace the bearing, but invariably the rear uj is also fucked.

It was.

New incoming.
1 X heat shield
12 bolts later. That vibration has gone...just the others now....

Always just pre holiday drama, I pulled the plugs on the Maverick one came out suspiciously easily as in pulled out by hand, no threads left at all. Luckily I was able to trailer it to get a timesert fitted to recover the thread at 5:30pm and go away in the morning.
Only changed the front bank as I thought there was no point tempting fate further. Will do rear bank when it won't be a disaster if a delay occurs.

I have done the front propshaft on mine. I took it to the Land Rover "specialist" near me and they couldn't find anything wrong - so took it to the (even more) local garage, they diagnosed a sticky brake calliper - stripped it and lubricated everything. No better - so I ordered a shaft and changed the fucker myself.

Mot day - pass.
Ironically an advisory for the d/s boot I'd replaced - might have forgot to clean it up a bit.

needs a couple of tyres really.
Wants the bottom arms/arb links doing - not bad, just slightly soft as per.
Still supremely capable as a towcar, 7 seater and truck.

It's the obvious place to keep them really, save them from premature wear.
