So far so good.
Axles next. And a prod at the prop.
It's got 19s on it...might go for a set of 18s...seemed to ride better (the old one). And these need a refurb. And a matching set of tyres.
Disco 3, everything, for the diagnosing of. x1

So.the 'prod at the prop'...Some wear evident.
However...big thump last night.
Centre bearing rubber has given up the ghost. Not a huge surprise.
Also not a huge surprise - the 'sealed for life' UJ on the prop is meh at best.
1/2 hour to get it off.

Handy to have your own ramp when owning one of these marvellous examples of automotive reliability.

If you're into fixing/running LR stuff do you know Austen Greenway by any chance?

Name rings a bell.
That's my works workshop I hasten to add. Although I did plan the ramps, spec them, cable drops etc etc....
Pointed at stuff mostly.

https://www.bellengineering.co.uk Blokes a star, I know him and his lad from my local. People travel from far and wide to go to his for a fix, even the continent in normal times. May prove useful one day is all I thought

Ah, the lads up Heightington. Yep, used them a bit when I worked down the lane at Dunley.

I do get in there occasionally but not working with the bloke I did a lot with who uses it as his office at the mo. I'm found far too often down the Fountain in CM. Maybe pop up for a jar one of the evenings? It's all quite pleasant sat out the back in this weather and the beers good.
Ps, Dunley takes me back, used to live at the Brickyard cottages when I was little.
PPs Still can't believe you've got that many ramps in one working space!
