Disco 3, everything, for the diagnosing of. x1

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

It's the obvious place to keep them really, save them from premature wear.
If they kept the heritage* of early Discos then the floor will rot out under them & a bit of luck will see them fall into place with no effort at all.

Only just seen this - if you need to change the front propshaft it can be done (just) without dropping the gearbox cross member - by jacking up the gearbox to get enough clearance. Which was good in my case as the gearbox cross member bolts are hidden under the fuel tank cover - and that cover is the only thing holding the tank up......

Are you anywhere near up to speed with 06 plate ish Rang Rovers? There's a bird up the road who's got one which I think has a problem with the ABS module iirc? None of the local garages will touch it apparently

I'm pretty sure Parnhard has mentioned LR/RR ABS block faults before. I think it was in my XJR thread, as there's a fault he says is easy to fix but most places charge a few grand for a new module.

Must have missed that one? It effects all sorts like the suspension etc etc as well apparently, not just the ABS?

That is the disco 2 fault with the 3 amigos. Disco 3 is a whole new level of pain and nightmares. I try to stay as far away from them as possible. A Freelander is about the only post 2004 L/R product I will go near.

Similar running gear. Can't hurt to have a look.

Good morning all.

Here we are again, a small prize if you can identify the task.

You've got a spaz chariot trapped under the exhaust and you don't want a fire there?
