Cars you hated and hope not to see again

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

It works much better visually as a van but you still have that gopping interior (well, most of it).
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

I’ve never been in one but a chap in work has a purple one covered in stick on faux chrome tat. It suits him tbh, he’s a right odd fucker.

I’ve seen that and it looks like a great car. Some of the pickup conversations have been pretty cool too. Shame they are so soulless to drive - well at least the one I had was. There’s probably one available that doesn’t have a rubber band for the engine and to be fair, I was driving Subaru STis and an EVO at the time.

PT cruisers need flat head V8s, they'll still be gutless but they'll sound cool so you don't care.

Fucking behave, the engine was as shit as the rest of the car!

The only one I ever drove that went well was a turbo with a seized wastegate & then you had to back off so it didn't trigger the ECU to shut down.

I know the 400 series was where my dad left his love for Volvo in the past. We had a couple of family members with 400s and he didn’t like them at all, the cars that is.

Ffs I’ll have to amend the other list again.
Me too, a convertible from before GM took over.
I have to say that despite what the press say about the apparently shitty gearchange manual Saabs are alleged to have, I've never had a problem with them.

Long throw, clunky, manual Mercs though...
The gear change on my '04 9-3 Cab is crap, compared to the mk4 golf that preceeded it.

Too easy

MK4 Espace 1.9Dci

Really wanted to like it but it was just really shit and ate money. Everything broke, everything was crap and over complicated.

Watercooled alternator.........stereo that comprised of many modules all over the car......opening sunroof that needed relubed constantly and leaked like fuck......then all the 1.9Dci issues AND Renault keycard issues

Honestly Everything possible did break, it began to threaten our marriage and we just hated it. Sold at a massive loss and felt instant happiness
