Do you have a "bogey brand"?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Volvo

The 145 bought for good money because I thought they were still worth something. And contained every possible problem, losing me a month’s wages in less than a month.

The 262 I chased for years and never found.

The 760 I wanted V6 parts from that got shredded before I got to the yard (oh, sorry mate!

The several attempts to buy a 66 and then a 360, no car. (And I’m someone who almost always buys the first one I try)

It just ain’t going to happen. Bye bye Volvo.

Mazda MX5.

Three times I've tried to buy one,

First time beaten to it by being caught in traffic
Second time I had to do unexpected overtime at work and missed out.
Third time the vendor changes his mind about selling the car to me after a test drive and agreeing on a price.

Do you want to make it four? There's one on my drive doing nothing now, if you like I can agree to sell it to you and then change my mind when you're on your way to collect it

How would Evil Warren feel about that though?

You'd have no chance against the Scouse version of Liam Neeson.

I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career as a taxi driver. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.

But what he doesn't know is that I'm a nightmare to people everywhere. I don't do violence but I bore people to death. God knows I bore myself.

BMW never owned one never wanted to (although with all the BM content in the ZT I suppose I came close. Some of the radio and instrument stuff which turned out to be BMW was an absolute joke - the sort of stuff that would be a laughing stock if BL had done it.
