Do you have a "bogey brand"?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I've had loads. Never really had any bother with them. Maybe that's why I find them boring.

They just don’t make anything I want, apart from the VX220 which I’d have over an Elise any day of the week.
Oh and maybe a Monaro but I can’t afford either of those anyway.

I had a gold N reg calibra in fantastic condition when my son was born 16 years ago. Cream leather nice alloys etc.
It was the 2.0 ecotec and very slow. I had to ring it's neck to get a move on. Lovely to look at but very meh to drive.
Apparently the red tops or v6 were the ones to get.

My previous neighbours had a Calibra and an MGF. The MG was melting into the driveway and the Calibra used to get stones bounced off the bonnet by their oldest son and his feral mate. Said neighbours were quite shocked when I went out and told the little fuckers to knock it on the head when they were acting up.

Thank fuck they’re gone or I’d likely be in jail by now.

Anyway, I liked the Calibra (in general, not the one that belonged to chav bastard neighbour) up to that point but the well has been poisoned for me now.

I had an 03 civic diesel that was a bastard. The spares were a fortune and it cost over £300 to change the cam belt as the front subframe has to be dropped or summick. The fucker blew it's head gasket at 70k and five years old and I chopped it in for a new '08 fabia.
Vauxhall diesel it had I believe.

Yip. I think we sourced them from Indonesia or somewhere.
