Anyone remember the foot operated ones in 70's Fords? They were funny - a rubber button to pump the water and a metal ring around the edge to activate the wipers.

I've used foot-pedal washer pumps but cannot remember what on! Your Rebels likely had (or have) them, as well I think.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Vacuum pump on mine.
