Reassembly is the reverse of removal.

Have you tried the engine or has it been part stripped?

Oh talking of engines. If you replace it make sure all the timing chain tensioners are replaced as the originals crack and fail.

It was stripped and has been left half dismantled for over 2 years. I'm not even bothering with it.

The bulbs I ordered arrived.
Naturally they were listed wrong and are completely incorrect. Ordered some more, which will hopefully be the correct type.

It has done a Jag and the inside of the engine is rusty.

It'll be like those race engines where the blocks were left outside to weather as it reduced stresses. Damned if I can't which engines that was though.

It was the BMW F1 engines wasn’t it that used road car blocks?
