Turbo 1.8 k-series

Post by DavidB »

I never knew they Turbo charged these, which is kinda like wiping ones post-tandoori bum hole with toilet paper dowsed with paint thinners.
What are they like and are they any less reliable?

A friend of mine has just bought an MG 6 on a 13 plate. Was surprised to hear that it has one under the bonnet. So far so good apparently.

The ones in the MG6 are somewhat improved and actually relatively reliable in service (unlike other parts of the car).

The original ones in Rover 75s are spectacularly shit, however.
