If they had a Burger King at a truck stop with a party row you could at least get them all in the same location...

Added a few holes to weld through. Offered up into place to give a visual.
Scrubbed to working an inch of its life with a set of wire brushes.
Duded up in a nice shade of gloss black enamel.

Jury rigged the horns up through the relay, using the new horn wiring in the steering column. First time that's worked in a long time.

Not as deep as I thought they would be. Do sound like a horn should sound - based on movies

Yup. I consider that to be "just right". It should be a little deeper once it's actually done because the firewall will act as a sounding board, like a guitar.
Either way, it suits the car just fine.

Then, attacking with orbital sander and 120 grit.
That's where I ran out of time. More shall follow. Also adapted the vacuum cleaner to hook to the back of the sander, significantly less dust from this procedure as a result.

That looks remarkedly well preserved to me or maybe I'm just used to UK rotboxes.

Also don't forget that this is 1951 American steel, not a lot of Taiwanese oxygen with a few ferrous molecules embedded in it.
