A portal to hell, there. Greased all points (23).
Cleaned and adjusted handbrake.

Smoother now.

It looks very black for 1000 miles. Is that normal for an old yank?

They get pretty sooty and black, but I'm running diesel oil which is pulling every last carbon molecule off every surface right now, so I'm expecting the first bunch of oil changes to be really black.

Still, split the blower fan case and got the squirrel cage off.

Cleaned up and split the blower motor. Didn't smell good.

Well, that's been hot enough to melt the solder off the commutator winding posts.

New motor time (preferably a 12V one).

First time I pulled this out because it worked when I connected it (knew it wouldn't last) and there were spiders.
