Just seen the news....Hope you OK down there Phil...
Big old storm, and the wind plus tide is pushing a lot of water inland. Nothing we aren't used to, and not so bad that the levee system isn't keeping out.
Just a lot of rain and a bit of gusting wind- we're okay here thankfully.

Funny. I've owned this car 2 years, today.
How time flies.

Thanks. I undid all the boards off the garage and house today, took the car outside. It's nice to be able to roll the windows down now! That makes a significant change.
But for now, it's all locked up safe again because I have a headache and intend on taking today easy.

Finished cleaning the glass. I now have oil for an oil change (30W diesel oil), antifreeze to mix with the distilled water I picked up, brake fluid and some screen wash.
Wife wasn't impressed by the purchase...

Did a little work on the car this weekend. Polished the rest of the side of the car up, then took it for a spin.
I needed to look at things with a bit of a retrospective view because from my position not much looks to have changed. However, compare a video I took 2 years ago, just after getting the car:

Compare it to the video I shot yesterday:

The difference is audible.

The car now looks better from all angles. Quite happy with that.

For the two year anniversary of my owning the car, I was asked to provide a movie of a celebratory donut.

There you go

While I do appreciate a good doughnut (or even a donut) I prefer your car. Please wash/wax the old girl and have it shipped to me first class.
I will pay you... honest!

New wing mirrors fitted. These ones are a) both visible from the driver's seat, b) not broken, c) don't foul the vent windows. Bought the "swan neck" version to clear, and they do kinda echo the curve of the body.
