Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

I've only seen reference to percentage water in the fluid but how the hell do you get -1%? Unless it is just one percent I suppose....

I would take to mean less than 1% of water in the brake fluid.
Might even mean none detected.

Question for the hive mind. My van,2.0 HDI engine has a froth/foam starting in the header tank. Doesn't smell oily,no mayo on coolant cap or on oil cap and sniff test came back fine so no gases in the coolant. It's white ish in colour and soft. My thoughts are mixed coolant types in its life as it had a slightly leaking rad when I bought it and I'm thinking previous owner used some pre mix coolant that didn't mix right. Thoughts welcome please and I'll get some photos tomorrow.

I think you should ignore it until something happens or you will end up writing about brake fluid too.

Maybe some residue from the new radiator?

Brakes are fine,I've also got a spare brake servo. The new rad has been in for a few thousand miles now but could be a possibility. Going to flush heater matrix,rad and block when I put new cambelt and water pump on it. Also need to fix new rad fan resistor too as it only works on high speed.

No.

it's open to public access so it's covered by the Highways Act. Same as supermarket carparks etc. it'd have to be gated or similar & locked for at least one day a day to remain private as far as I'm aware.

How do I tell if I have any advisories? Click mot history but it does not mention any. But nor does it say "No advisories" so I'm not sure.

If it's not there, then there are no advisories.
